Victory for Ferrari F430GT on PAGID pads at the Twelve Hours of Sebring
Cars on Pagid Brake Pads dominated the GT2 class by coming
in one to seven. That marked the 8th straight Sebring
win for the yellow Pagid endurance pads.
At the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring the battle between
the Ferrari and Porsche lasted throughout the entire day,
one of the most thrilling editions of the Florida classic.
The Risi Competizione's Ferrari F430GT of Mika Salo, Johnny
Mowlem and Jamie Melo beat the Flying Lizard Motorsports
Porsche 997 GT3RSR of Jorg Bergmeister, Marc Lieb and
Johannes Van Overbeek to the finish line by 0.20 seconds,
the closest finish in Sebring's 55-year history.
"It was really tight with the Flying Lizard Porsche,"
Mika Salo said. "We were absolutely flat out the entire
way. The GT2 class is the best racing in this Series;
it's going to be like this all year."
Tafel Racing's Porsche 997 RSR of Wolf Henzler, Robin
Liddell and Patrick Long finished third.
